Amen one saw is blasphemy what happens when you pinch it? Not that I'd ever do such a thing mind you...
Many people on AS believe in the three saw plan.
A big one to drop the BIG trees.
A medium one for most bucking and felling.
A small one for limbing and in tree work.

I over compensated and am working on the 8 saw plan.

I am on the 3 1/2 saw plan.
1 big one
1 middle sized one
1 small one
1 pole saw that works on my weed eater

Now if I just had some wood to cut...... I cut wood for a couple years but I don't burn wood so I gave up. Ed

My saw and mickey mouse ears where found in a different area than I was working neatly nestled together. I must have CRS.

Not to worry, it gets better as you get older. I once spent time looking for my keys while I was holding them.

Unfortunately, I knew this was the answer from the beginning. It's amazing how that CRS creeps up on us.

Quite a few years ago not long after we bought the property, I lost, somewhere along a track around our hill, a snigging chain about 4m long. Had clevis hooks on each end. About a year later, falling a tree in the same vicinity, I started limbing the dropped tree and found it had landed on a similar chain, about twice as long and with one hook and a ring on the other end. Still don't know where my shorter chain is, but the "new" one has done a lot of work since :)
I have also sometimes misplaced my wife in larger shopping centres, but usually persist in looking until I find her, as it would be even more trouble to find another one ;)

Ah, the gremlins traded, they needed one with clevises at both ends. When working in the garage and I run into a case of: B]Where that go, I just had the d*mn thing in my hands! [/B]and suspect the gremlins stole it, it's best be stern with them and yell out "Hey bring that back!".
9 times out of 10 when I go back and look in the spots I just checked, it's there!
...but I wish I new what they were doing with my 12 piece screwdriver set, I'm down to 6.

I lost my tractor for a frantic hour in the woods when I walked away from it trying to find a path to make with the fewest trees to remove. If it would have been a JD I might have never found it.

The Elves took it for a joyride, and returned it..
