I noticed this clean set of track prints I made yesterday. We have ice under a thin layer of snow. To me this shows how a good set of ice chains work. The right track is the unchained front. The left is the chained rear. Notice how all of the weight on the rear tires is on the chains all the time. You can hardly see the ag tires making a mark. The chains are never down between the tire lugs - always on top.
