To deal with that CRS factor I keep a small notepad in my back pocket. Now have to remember to write stuff down in that notepad...
I'd have to remember I had the notebook. And then where I put it.

Now with a 5" screen I've moved to my phone also. Be sure to make backups!I always make my list on my phone. I always have it with me so I can always add to my lists. The problem I have is I forget to look at my phone when I need the items
These notebooks fit in my shirt pocket and are $5 for a 12 pack at Sam's Club. I write everything down plus have lists of short and long term projects. You would be surprised what you can get done if you see it on paper. Generally, I do new projects in the morning and odd jobs or clean up in the later day. I'm retired and find a quick mid-day nap doubles my productivity because I am basically starting fresh.

My saw and mickey mouse ears where found in a different area than I was working neatly nestled together. I must have CRS.
I have started using the built-in Notes app on the iPhone religiously lately. The main benefit is that the notes get synced to my iPad and computers, so I can see/edit the notes from any of them. Real handy for projects -- I can type dimensions, specs, and measurements on the iPhone and then see them on my computer. Or start a new note on the computer and it will appear on the iPhone. I have a lot fewer sticky notes and scraps of paper floating around.
