Exactly. It was an old plum orchard and was being removed so they could plant new plum trees. At least that was what I could determine from the comments I translated with Google translate.
Around here a lot of old apple orchards are converted to grape vineyards...wineries popping up all over...
In Florida????? or even GA? I thought it was too hot for either apples or grapes.
GA...Wine has gotten very big around here...apples are still big but the wine makers are always buying up the decrepit orchards...
I've had lots of Georgian wine and champagne but all from the Republic of Georgia.
I thought you guys just grew peaches and pecans. You do those so well, why mess with fruit that doesn't typically grow in humid southern heat??
I think I saw somewhere that there is a company that makes heavier duty tree pullers with a hydraulic assist foot.
