Getting ready to run two hoses to the rear of the tractor B7800 for a backhoe. I want to do it so the connections are connected together when the hoe is off the tractor.Does the red labeled hose go to rear and the Power beyond hose from valve run to rear and connects to each other when not on hoe? Wondering where a tee goes? I am a newbie to hyd so be kind. thanks LABLED B7800 HYD.jpg

If this is a 3pt mounted backhoe you well need 3 hoses coming off the back hoe and you well only need to hook 2 together. The PB line you unhook at the block then run to the in port of the hoe. Then you have to have a PB fitting in the hoe's valve and that line goes right where you removed the hose at the block. The out port on the hoe can be teed into the loader return line or you can just put it in the fill hole of the trans.

THanks for the reply, I only have two hoses coming from the backhoe valve? Don't see a PB connection on the hoe

Since you only have 2 lines on the BH valve, the green (power beyond) line will go to the IN or P port for the BH valve, the OUT or return line from BH vlave will go to where the green PB line hooks into the valve block.

What kind of BH are you putting on your tractor?

Its a China Liberty BH. I beat the crap out of it on my B2150 for the last few years. Thanks for the help. I will also be rearranging the connections on the b2150 for the bh too. I hired a guy and ended up with a selector switch and whats looks like a mess to connect it to that tractor. I will post it to the forum for help on that project too. thanks 008.JPGLabled hyd b2150.jpg

What you have is a manual selector valve that either selects the input for the loader valve or the BH .

If you remove the BH, there is no need to connect hoses, just leave the manual valve in the loader position, and you will also have 3pt.

If you remove the manual selector valve and feed the loader with the pump hose, that is the normal mode.

A different way to connect the BH is to take the PB from the loader and feed one line to the back for the input to the 3pt.

Then a hose from the 3pt input to connect to the PB on the BH valve. if the BH valve does not have a PB port, then the OUT on the BH valve will go to tank. If the BH OUT port goes to tank, then cap the 3pt input hose and you will not have any 3pt.

With this setup, and you disconnect the BH, then you ;would connect the PB hose from the loader to the input to the 3pt.

What they should have done , is to connect a long hose from the hyd blk to the rear for the BH, and another hose from the BH OUT port back to the hyd blk for a complete flow path.

Recommend you remove the water pipe fitting and use hyd fitting

Then when you removed the BH, you would have connected the hoses from the BH valve together.

Thank you for your expert analysis. I am going to get busy on this shortly.
