How about that for some thread drift? Could be a scene from Fast & Furious 29! Love it.

Edit: careful though, don't want to waste more of those two guys' time with your nanny foolishness.

Well, you got me on that one. I thought maybe I could get away with a bit of artistic license here, but you guys are too sharp for me. Fact of the matter is, he was a colleague and an apposing attorney whom I faced several times in my career. He had a tendency to irk me at times, but we got along well.

Environmentalist dies (Crushed by a tree...)

Why do we have a special name label for "environmentalists"? I doubt that the opposing side's obituary will say "Pollutionists dies when scared to death by harmless tree picture"? :stirthepot:

It's not my special name, it was attached by the author of the article. The fact of the matter is, that I was the opposing side, and I was labeled an "environmentalist". It was, among other things, my job to enforce the Air Quality laws for the state...which included drafting, promulgating and enforcing regulations, reviewing, approving and defending permits, determining violations and prosecuting violators. His role was to represent industry or the public when they thought our regs were too weak or too strong.

Man, what is wrong with the people of Tulsa? The comment section of that story is brutal. Have they no decency there?
