That's Great news! I'm right @ 50 hours now so I plan on changing them as soon as I get tractor back. Hopefully all will go well for me also.

Seems almost like an "As the world turns episode" Service Manager @ the dealer fired! New Interim Service manger trying to pick up the pieces but there are a lot of pieces. She got her Shop foreman to look at it and I was astonished to hear there is an issue with the valve. She is checking with Kubota for any help with valve Good will warranty ( Failed at 50 Hrs) waiting to hear from Kubota but have been quoted over $1300.00 for valve I see all over the internet for about $780.00. Trying to remain positive while I wait to hear back.

I'm starting to lose that warm Fuzzy feeling. Dealer notified Kubota but they denied claim under Powertrain warranty. The submitted it under a Goodwill warranty because the Part should last more than 50 Hours but the Dealer said Kubota Warranty is very difficult to contact. Not feeling very encouraged and am going from Kubota Fan to at least concerned.

OK after having the tractor at the dealer for a month and hearing the service administrator tell me how hard it is to contact Kubota warranty department I sent another email to Kubota Customer service late Friday. This Monday morning I received an email that Kubota will be resolving this and the dealer will contact me soon. The Dealer did contact me and said Kubota will be covering the cost of the valve. I still need to pay for labor which always seems high at a dealership but at least I can have the part covered. Cant wait to get the tractor back I have plenty of dirt to move. Thanks to Kubota for taking care of an obviously defective part after the warranty period!

I had a similar issue with my B2920 with low hours. It was the valve and both labor and part was covered under warranty. I was out of a tractor for a few week and they let me borrow one to cut my grass. (I'm fortunate with my dealer 2 miles away). I'd like to know how / why hey would warrant the part but not the labor.

The Tractor was out of warranty and I am not the original owner nor was the local Dealer the original dealer so I don't fault the dealer for wanting to make a buck. Labor cost seems high to me but I'm glad I didn't need to pay for the part. I guess if Kubota wanted to be amazing they would have taken care of all of it but I'm grateful they covered the part and that is all I asked them to do.

Great, good news. I figured Kubota would back it.
I don't have specific knowledge of that loader valve. However, I think most of them are made by 3rd parties, not the tractor manufacturer. My MF 2660 has a DL250 loader and uses a NIMCO loader valve as orig equip from the factory. To make a LONG story shorter, there was no break but rather a day-one-original manufacturing error in mine. The bucket would not roll downward with force/pressure. AGCO/MF did all sorts of attempted fixes to no avail. Came to my farm & replaced the valve (which cost $1100 !!) and still no change. Turns out NIMCO had produced " a few" bad valves which included mine, the replacement out of the parts depot in AGCO and at least 2 others I know of delivered on tractors. In the end, it cost me nothing but my time and lost usage. I had to go direct to NIMCO to get the full story, they sent me a repair kit and I fixed it myself. Your district rep in Kubota should immediately know & be able to tell you if they had loader valve troubles. Sadly AGCO/MF was ignorant of the problem, not communicating, and was still sending bad valves out from their warehouse. The dealers (and us users) were the victims.

Well that's a horse of a different color. If it's out of warranty then that changes everything. Now if it was a recall as appose to a warranty issue then I'd see an argument .... Sorry, I didn't know all the facts

Is there anything one can do to prevent this valve from going? Is it a cheap little pare that can be changed out or is it just "run it till it quits"?
