No more V8 in F150?

Not actually, it's about controlling wheel spin. I have a video somewhere of a jacked up Dmax wit stacks getting tugged around by a All Wheel Drive Volkswagen.

Chris

Wheels spin when you lose traction. IMO, If they loaded 600-800 lbs in the back of that D-Max and put it in low, they could have dragged the VW down the street with no problem.
Once wheels are spinning, they have greatly reduced traction compared to when they are static, or turning under control (ie, with full traction). As your comment implies, in a pulling contest, odds are that you lose if you spin tires before your opponent does.

He was already heavier so no need for weight in the bed. Traction and prevention of wheel spin is key.

They say 'You meet the nicest people on a Honda'...Sit on the hood? Isn't a Ridgeline a wannabe Avalanche?
They said that about Honda 90 bikes, along time ago...I agree the Ridgeline is the Honda 90 of trucks... HS

I'd rather get a Subaru all day everyday instead of the Honda Ridgeline.

Hondas in general are good cars, but they are cars made for people who hates cars, if you know what I mean.

Carry an extra head gasket, Supercrew, cheap and poorly made. Throw away cars. HS

Except for the Civic SI.

My Subaru has 198k and still running the original head gasket, definitely not a cheaply made car. My leather still looks great with so many miles.
What do you drive that is oh so great?
