I actually sent you a private message a couple of days ago regarding where I got mine. I bought mine from Georgia Tractor company. Excellent experience all the way around. You might also check with Pennnine Farm Supply in Spring City, good folks there, too.

One thing, if you want rear remotes to hook up your hoe without disconnecting the 3 point line, be sure you specify that. I didn't and I wish I had.

You're not oversimplifying it. It's just about that easy. When I remove mine again, I will put some blocking under the main portion (directly below the part where the chair is) for safety and in case the stabilizers lose pressure over time, which would cause tipping. Follow Zork's steps above and it should be easy.

Here is how I came up with a way to keep the legs from pressurizing the lines during storage. I made hook setup that ties a chain between the feet of the outriggers. Each foot has a hook that stays with the foot. After I remove the hoe from the tractor I tighten up the chain before I unhook the lines from the tractor. The chain keeps the hoe from lowering and increasing the line pressure. The wooden ramps are so I can park our Mule over top of the sub frame.

The line pressure can increase because of the hoe lowering, so you have solved that issue. But it can also increase substantially due to temperature differential. You have solved one problem, but you still may have the occasional over pressurized QC.

When I put the hoe away it is after being used and the temperature of the oil/cylinders/valvepack and lines are well above ambient air temperature. Sitting in the shade of the barn, air temperature is not going to raise the oil temp above what it was when initially stored after being used. If it was stored away in the winter it maybe a different. This has been working for me.

You are surely good to go if you put it away hot.

After setting the brake, I stretch out the hoe to balance the sub-frame to relieve any pressure on the lower hooks and remove the pins (this forces the sub-frame upwards). With the engine off, brake on, the hooks can be spun with a finger, but you might want to use a stick for safety. I use the hydraulics to maneuver and line up the sub-frame left and right when installing it. The only place I block is the lower frame between the pads; over time the cyl's leak and the unit could tip left or right. I do not block the end of the sub-frame (stays on ground) because I need the clearance. Jiggling the controls of the hoe helps relieve the pressure on the lines when you disconnect them after you stop the engine. Do not forget to connect the tractor's looped line after you disconnect the hoe and before you start the engine.

this is first ive heard of connecting the hydro lines together after removeing them from hoe. could you give more info on that, the owners manuel just says to cap them.

Most folks connect them back together. It seals against dirt and dust better than the caps.

Late to the party - again !
About the only thing I can add is that when backing up I "TRY" to sight over the right side pin and keep it over the inside edge of the sub frame.
BTW, mine is an Amerequip model and the rear hook-up lugs are inside the sub frame member.
and of course coming in STRAIGHT helps a lot.

Set safety police watch to OFF !
I use the bucket for final jiggering back/forth so that I can be back there and SEE the hook up lugs while I adjust the stabilizer legs to match the height of the lugs to the pins.

BTW, the hoe is extended and the stabilizers are raised when you are ready to flip the front of the sub frame UP.
The stabilizers are used to flip the front end of the sub frame DOWN.

I did all my own assembly from what was basically a "kit".
Not at all hard, but I did leave a lot of bolts barely snug until everything got shook together.

I understand now. could those lines be used to run other stuff that has its own valves, and just needs hydrolic pressure ? thanks, Mike
