Late to the party - again !
About the only thing I can add is that when backing up I "TRY" to sight over the right side pin and keep it over the inside edge of the sub frame.
BTW, mine is an Amerequip model and the rear hook-up lugs are inside the sub frame member.
and of course coming in STRAIGHT helps a lot.
Set safety police watch to OFF !
I use the bucket for final jiggering back/forth so that I can be back there and SEE the hook up lugs while I adjust the stabilizer legs to match the height of the lugs to the pins.
BTW, the hoe is extended and the stabilizers are raised when you are ready to flip the front of the sub frame UP.
The stabilizers are used to flip the front end of the sub frame DOWN.
I did all my own assembly from what was basically a "kit".
Not at all hard, but I did leave a lot of bolts barely snug until everything got shook together.
it sounds like its installed like the ansung, hoe on my branson. i layed under my tractor for about an hr and just staired at the entire under carriage, getting to know it, and hope i never see it again.
