I picked up my new Load Trail 16' Low pro dump yesterday. I ordered about 4 weeks ago and it showed up at the dealer last weekend.
I had the fork pockets done custom as they weren't an option on the low pro dumps. Overall the trailer came out great and tows like a dream(for a bumper pull).
The paint job is pretty good overall. I did point out a few imperfections to the dealer who's getting me some touch up paint(even though it's powdercoated).

I have one like yours but 14 foot. I have had it a few years and so far pretty good. They didn't have power coating then so I should keep up on the paint touch up; yours should do better. I had a small leak in the ram but it was no sweat getting it fixed. I like that in a company. I have never had much luck with the spreader setting in the tail gate but did manage to get a sticky load to fall down on the gate an bent it out. Wasn't bad getting it fixed though.

When I got my trailer I noticed that the brake electric lines were connected with scotch lock connectors. No tape or shrink tubing; you might want to go over the wiring now to avoid problems later. Other than that three years and its been ok. I did need to replace two tires that wore out prematurely.

True most trailer makers don't do a good enough job of waterproofing the the connections

I just purchased a 16' load trail dump in March and have been trying to have them fix it. Axles are overheating and brakes lock up. Load trail has done a great job not delaying and changing their minds. Shannon and AJ in warranty are a joke. Jake their boss will not accept or return a phone call. Has any one else had problems with load trail and or the brakes?

The one issue I had with mine was a diode on the truck to trailer charge line. I contacted them and they were great at answering me and providing a solution. The axles on mine are Dexters and have been fine, no brake issues either.

I have a 10k Load Trail dump. No issues brake or otherwise. It has Dexter axles.

I just looked at the Dexter axle owners manual. It says for axle warranty issues contact them directly.

Also under troubleshooting it says a faulty breakaway switch can cause brake drag. Something to check.

My truck wiring was incorrect. Someone had previously connected the battery charge line to the brake terminal. As long as the fuse was blown on the battery charge line no troubles. Put a good fuse in and the brakes would lock up. I ordered and installed new wiring harness from etrailer.com and problem solved. My brake controller failed and caused a similar issue. May not be the trailer at all. My dealer was helpful in figuring all this out. Running an F350.
