KyleH - Let us know how it goes, some photos would be great also on adding the brake light. I have not yet taken the panel off and looked under there now the good weather is here. I hope to do so when I get it back from the 50 hours service. I bought an LED strip that I want to mount to the left of the console on the window too blink as a reminder.

 Opps... got to update my profile from my B2920 to the B2650 cab....

Will do, been too busy using the tractor to do any upgrades lately, thinking a flashing led would be more noticeable than a solid one.

I have been reading this and other topics on the B 2650/3350 and all the info seems to be about a year old. I am looking at both models and was wondering if some of the bugs for the regen has been worked out of the 3350. I only have 2 acres but plan to buy more later. Also the dirt/clay here is very hard when it drys. I want a tractor that is going to be able to till the dirt so I can smith out my yard over a few years. I just don't want to buy a tractor that is to small for the job but don't want one that I have to keep messing with all the time to get it to work. What would you guys suggest. This will be my first tractor. My neighbor has a 32 hp John Deere and it seems pretty good I just don't like how John Deere makes you pay a premium for there stuff if something breaks. Also I want to put a MMM and mow my yard.

The altitude I live at 4,800 feet and hot in the summer (desert), pushed me to the 3350, as its turbo takes care of the power loss at altitude (about 3% for every 1000 feet). If altitude isn't a factor, I'd recommend the 2650. I've had no real issues with my tractor, but, not being able to use it at low rpms, and the potential for DPF issues weigh heavily. I had a 24 Kubota years ago and never needed more power - sometimes you go just a little slower as when brush cutting with a rotary mower, but it gets the job done.

I agree with you on the John Deere thing. They did not stand up and do the right thing for all their rotary mower failures where the output shaft is shearing and leaving the blades sitting on the ground!

More power is usually better, but went with the B2650 because there's no emissions to worry about. So far there's only been a couple times a little more power would be nice, such as uphill in high gear which is rare anyways for me. Since they are HST you just have to slow down a little.

Have been doing a little research about adding a turbo onto my B2650, talked to some diesel shops that said 4-5 psi of boost would be safe and put it around 34-35hp with a lot more torque. Still deciding if it's even needed...

Dude. Keep us posted on the turbo. That would be bad ***. I have a turbo from a cat laying around. It might be a little big but that would be an awesom project and be pretty cool.

When I picked up a 3point trailer hitch receiver from my dealer, I was in a rush, but I heard a salesman say that the 3350 was a stop sale in Ontario due to the cold weather performance with the dpf and regeneration in this climate. I cannot say much more about it, as that is all that I heard

There was a stop sale on the B3350 when I was buying last fall, not sure if they have it figured out, one guy mentioned they have a cover for the rad to keep the temps up during the winter.

Will do, will likely be a while doing research and gathering parts, it's not easy finding people that sell turbos that will take the time to answer questions but believe I have found somebody that knows what they are doing and willing to help. Which is why I will be buying from them.

The turbo needs to be fairly small to spool up quick enough, which is easy enough to find, but the wastegate needs to be adjusted down to 4-5 psi to be safe.

So far it looks like the IHI RHF3 will be the best choice being liquid cooled and ball bearing it will spool quick and be durable. Cat does use this same turbo for some of its applications. I'd have to look up the part number again.

I don't want it to look like a hack job when finished either, so I am going to take my time and fabricate it as neatly as I can. Hopefully it will have room right off the manifold since the B3350 has one along with the dpf over top of the engine.
