I don't understand how somebody can pay good money for a piece of equipment and not take the time to take care of it. My tractor gets washed after every use and still looks bran new. Same with any equipment I use at work. Use it, wash it, repeat.

OP looks good! keep it looking good lol

I wish I had all the free time you have! I couldn't imagine washing my tractor almost every day! If it's really a mess it might get the hose but generally it just gets air to blow off all the loses dirt, clippings, and dust, and that might not happen every time it gets put away.

Who said not washing a tractor isn't taking care of it? As far as I'm concerned that good layer of dirt keeps the paint from fading. It looks like his tractor looks brand new after going 4 years without a washing. I would be spending as much time washing as I did working if I did that.

All maintenance is current on my Yanmar & I've hit it with a leaf blower a couple of times. Does that count? I use mine for work. It ain't a cruise night queen.

You're welcome to drop by and wash mine. As long as you're at it you may as well wax it too.

Usually, by the time I finish working mine, I'm too tired to do anything but park it. The next day or two is when the necessary servicing is done.......might even blow the dust of the hood. Before winter it will definitely get some TLC.

Kebo, that is a fine job and beautiful machine.

I thought you California guys were out of water? Lol

I don't wash mine every day unless I finish whatever project I'm working on in 1 day. Maybe I should have said mine gets washed everytime it gets parked in between projects.

Yep. And the caked on bird poop from parking under the rafters in the barn creates a nice patina.
