Hornady mailed me a new set of dies after I ruined a 20 year old set by loading nickel plated brass.

Speaking of presses, I probably should unpack and see what is left from my long ago press collecting. Somebody may want one, but packing and shipping would be difficult and expensive. Anyone in WA-OR want an old press? Maybe we could meet.

Our local Meijers store has had the same off-brand .22s on the shelf for a month. I think people went in there for 2-3 years, never saw any, and now don't realize they are there. :laughing:

They are $5.99 for 50.

I just bought 4 boxes to get the free shipping on the 4th. I buy quite a bit of ammo from PSA. Too bad they now charge GA sales tax. Not always the best price but reasonable in today's market and I'm sick of hunting for ammo.

I also use wiki ammo to watch prices especially the wife's .380

That makes no sense... nickel plated brass will not damage a die...

Nickle plated brass resize easier than brass brass. At least that has been my experience, at least with pistol brass. I don't bother to segregate them but I can tell when it is a plated case as it goes into the resizing die a bit easier.

Was it nickel plated steel case? I know there is/was some of that around
