I know.. But her paying for the damage and you collecting that payment is a civil matter.

I may have already asked this but can't you get a lien on her property for the amount owed? Then who cares what happens because you will--100%--collect.

Few years ago a judge told the neighbor lady to pay court cost first. $900.00

I really don't know. I have no idea how the courts are going to handle this.

If she still owns the land she can't be broke. The court should be able to put a lien on the land if nothing else and should get interest. Your lawyer became a judge but you still should be able to get advice from him or another lawyer on the best way to force the issue without having them show up in court. This woman is milking the system and it has to stop.

Dude.. so what? Let her file bankruptcy.. Do you not pay what you owe, especially through mallice, just 'cause you 'are broke'? If she has that kind of financial hardship, let her file it with the court, then file for bankruptcy. If she doesnt do those, then she needs to pay up for the damages. Period.

If you don't pay a ticket or your court costs, you will most definitely go to jail. The county doesn't care if you're broke or not.
