Funny stuff. I was checking out all of the newly imported welders at the show. I have attended Fab-Tech since 1999 and I have never ever witnessed so many different types and colors of welders. There must have been 30 new vendors selling machines. Some didn't even know what the machines were that they were selling. There was a nice display of DC Tig / Stick machines with a few Migs there too. I asked a guy from China if all of these machines were DC. He said no no no they are Inverters. :confused2:

Was my first time at FabTech... and that was my thought too. I was shocked to see so many welder brands! Drooled over a couple Ironworkers, though I could never justify one. And thanks again for the tickets, yomax! Walked my butt off at show and around the strip. Very deceiving place.

Yes, Vegas is Chaos to say the least. Not a fav of mine. If you took the top 4 products that were displayed this year It would have to be
DC inverters, Victor Torch look alikes, Auto Darkening Hoods and Abrasives. The stuff was everywhere. What a difference a year makes. Glad you enjoyed the show It really is cool to see all of the new products.
