Where did you get the handle that it bolts on with? (Referring to the lawn mower ball hitch pictured above).

Where else but McMaster Carr.
Perhaps 91043A035, but don't quote me on it (i.e. look it up yourself if you're going to do it).

What in the WORLD is this contraption used for? Flat towing a car......backwards.......?
I just gotta know......

I use it to push dead vehicles in the garage.

Ruin? Really? I'm not sure I've ever seen a set of forks *without* a hole in one of 'em (multiple industrial applications, mine, my dad's, etc.).
I think a drilled hole would be spiffy, instead of the ugly torched hole that's *always* there.

Forks are WAY more useful with a hole in them. All of my forklifts have holes in the forks.

Yes, ruin IMO. If it was a good idea wouldn't they come with a hole in them. You are weakening the fork by putting a hole in them. I think it would make it easy to break or bend the tip. Someone in this thread already said they bent theirs.

I was gonna make a joke about having to push the dead Chevy in the barn till I seen the video. I will just keep my mouth shut I guess lol

That Chevy was the first thing I pushed with it. I have pushed a little bit of everything with it.

I've never bent a fork. I've stood my forklift on the front axel lifting from the tip of a single fork. I was trying to lift 15,000 pounds. It picked it up once I moved the load back. I lifted 8000 pounds with my other forklift. Putting a hole a few inches from the tip isn't severely weakening anything. Forklifts and tractors aren't even in the same ballpark when it comes to lifting. Even the baddest skid steer can't hold a candle to them. If I've yet to bend a fork with with a forklift I think they'll survive tractor use. Adding bucket hooks and light bars are considered by most to be a good idea. Why don't tractors come with them?

There are different classes of forks. Most SSQA forks are class 1. A forklift capable of lifting 15k would not have class 1 forks.

Agreed, but forks of adequate duty to begin with aren't going to bend because of a hole in them. A single fork off that forklift weighs as much as my whole SSQA set.

I have this unit for the rear Titan Tractor Trailer Hitch & Ball Drawbar Gooseneck CAT 1 Spear Receiver 3 pt

And one similar to this for the front, but I can move the receiver up and down the front. It appears they no longer carry the model I got from them.
Titan Skidsteer Trailer Receiver Mount Plate Hitch Bobcat Case Skid Steer REC-MP

I have never had an issue with the ball coming out, but I use the GN lock anyway. To park my baler I have a hitch with the hole and use a long hitch pin that has a handel to line everything up. Sure makes parking the equipment a breeze.

I have frontier forks for my FEL, there rated at 5,500lbs, my loader will only lift 1700-2100lbs, I feel I could almost saw one in half before I bend it. Not saying it's not possible but I feel it would be very hard to do.

I just purchased a cheap three point hitch unit like they carry at Tractor Supply, etc. The difference is that it was only $55 (cyber Monday deal), free shipping.

It is made for BX sized tractors so I'm a little worried that it might be too narrow for my lift arms, but think it will work. It is rated at 6000 pounds. My trailer has a 9000 pound gross rating but rarely has more than 4000 on it so it should be fine. I'll post my findings when I've tried it out.

3 Point 2" Receiver Trailer Hitch Category 1 Tractor Tow Hitch Drawbar Adapter

This unit arrived via FedEx today. I'm very impressed. It is well made. Pins screw into the lower bar, no nut. All hitch pins came included. Good welds. Yes, it is a simple product but everywhere else I looked they cost twice as much. This was $55, free shipping! Arrived in 3 days! Very pleased.
