Flashlight

It is hard to beat the price of free.

I played with my new chinese flashlight some more last night, and I just don't have enough distance to fully utilize the spot beam function of this thing. I have so many trees you cannot see very far around here and this thing lights up the trees really really well. For a Chinese gee-gaw, I am really impressed with it. Thanks Tallyho8 I appreciate the tip.

Well, I am about 3000 miles closer to China than you are, and yes it is Black.. sorry about that.:)

I'll send China an email by way of Taiwan and file a complaint to the complaint department, maybe the'll resend me another flashlight........

I ordered one too but I went the free-shipping route which means it must be on the slow boat from China. The shipping notification e-mail I got said it should be delivered in 2-3 weeks but some deliveries may take 4-6 weeks.

Some of those Chinese online storefronts give you the option of "expedited delivery". In some cases that's more than $50 for a 5 or 6 dollar item.

I tell you guys, this Amazon Prime thing is a good deal. We order a "pot load" of stuff from Amazon, and we get it quickly, with the ability to send it back if needed, and video service and free music too.... I know it rubs some of you the wrong way to pay money annually to get all of this, but I think it is worth it, especially to us as a high volume Amazon user.

There is no doubt that there are better, more expensive flashlights around than the $5 Ultrafires that you can get but the OP was looking for a dependable flashlight that wouldn't break the bank. And I still have not seen a better value for the money than the cheap ones I have mentioned.

After reading posts on TBN for many years I have learned that members love to spend other members money on the absolute best and most expensive model available. For instance if someone writes that they have tree branch in their yard that is too large to fit in their trash can and they need a cheap chainsaw to cut it up and will probably never use the saw again, they get about 100 replies telling them not to waste their money on the cheap one but to get the Stihl SuperMax 8000 for only $2599.

If they write that they have 1/2 acre and need a small tractor to spread dirt in their back yard members try to convince them to buy a 450 HP Kobatudeere for $50995.

I wonder what kind of ring y'all would suggest I buy for my wife for our 50th anniversary if I said I had to take out a loan to buy it?

$51k for a 450hp tractor of any kind is a heck of a deal, but I'm sure it will prob be under powered moving dirt around, you want something more along the size of big bud which can work over an acre of ground per min.

Only tractor fit to own for even a small garden right here

What rubs me the wrong way, and the reason I won't buy from Amazon, Jeff Bozo WAPO. I'll spend my money locally.

All well and good if you live where there is a good selection of stores. Many of us aren't so blessed...it's a good 1.5-2 hr (each way) drive for me to get to such a place.

Prime seems like a good deal if you order a lot. I'll maybe order 3-4 times a year, not enough to justify the cost. I'll just wait until I have a large enough order to qualify for their slow free shipping. If I need something in a hurry I probably wouldn't buy it online.
Not really interested in video streaming.

So I got one of those cheap wilker flashlights. Man if feels really chinsy. The lense is loose even all tightened down.

I'd does however throw out an amazing amount of light.

We'll see how long it lasts.
