As an old car dealer said when I pointed out some "flaws" on the vehicle I was contemplating purchasing, he said: "it is a long way from its heart".
I have always remembered that. And a tractor is a lot rougher machine than an automobile. As many have found out, in no time you have a lot of scrapes and "bruises" put on a tractor. I keep a can of touch up paint handy and repair the larger ones from time to time where excessive rust would form. There is no point in fixing the bottom 1/3 of the bucket as you would scrape it off the first time you used it.
I think most of us want our tractors to look as nice as they can within reason that they are rough machines and are always subject to some minor damage.
