As a recent purchaser of a BX2370, I can agree that quality on these new units has gone down hill since my previous BX2360 had been built. Very poor welds on hood brackets and lots of spots where minor corrosion is starting to appear. I may be out of the norm, as my stuff never sits outside, and is always cleaned and waxed after pretty well every use during the summer months. I keep my stuff show room clean, and am disappointed in the quality of the new stuff. If I buy another Kubota in the future, I will be checking it over much more closely than I did before purchasing this one. Sad part is, to the dealer it,s mice nuts, and they don,t care one bit once they have your cheque in hand.

I have to agree with you. I bought my BX2360 in 2011 and it was near perfect . The only thing was my front axle oil was very low. But the paint and every thing else was real good. A friend bought a new BX1870 two years ago. His tractor has paint chips at many places and surface rust here and there. I guess quality control is out the window!

Got it!

Here's a action video from yesterday!

If you continue to use the front bucket for snow removal, you will wear out the cutting edge. I did it for one season, and then bought a Kubota snow blower. The blower works well on the BX, and I loved it until we got a heavy rain on top of the small amount of snow that is always left over after using the blower. It froze, and that is when I decided that I needed a blade also. I also tried a rear blade with the snow blower, but the little BX just couldn't handle everything. Now, I have a weight box on the rear, a power angle Kubota blade, and the Kubota snow blower. I change from the blade to the blower, depending on snow conditions, and sometimes, I do a final clean up with the blade after blowing the drive. My driveway is about 2500 feet, so I spend a lot of time clearing snow. For this reason, I also have a Curtis cab with a heater. Life is too short to fight snow the hard way. Let your tractor do the work for you.

I'm surprised at people's responses here regarding delivery of the equipment. I'm tired of people giving dealers a pass. You're paying **** good money for a piece of NEW equipment, not some weathered looking piece of equipment. When I started looking earlier in the year,I was looking at Ferris zero turns. One dealer I went to and looked at the mowers-I was shocked at how crappy they looked. Seats faded, some of the rubber disintegrating on the handles, faded and rusted paint, etc. It should be MY choice to let it look like sh*t,not the dealer because they don't have indoor space or poor turnaround. When I just bought my Kubota,I thought it was last one they had on floor(due to discounted price)-ended up being one from a crate at the other store. I wasn't in a rush for it,and they had to wait for the LED lights to be delivered(mounted to ROPS). After almost 2 hours of use, radiator hose clamps weren't tightened,so I have nice coolant leaks on the floor. I also noticed 2 wheel bolts on a rear tire were installed backwards, and I just checked the cold level of the transmission fluid-NOTHING showing on the stick!!!! I checked the front axle level and that seems ok. I will be contacting the salesman tomorrow and demanding some free Super UDT-2 to top off the transmission, along w/mentioning the loose hose clamps. I also think I'll fire off an email to Kubota about the poor check over of machine by dealer.....

Two of the wheel "bolts" of every Kubota are always installed backwards. They are studs so you can mount the wheel. My Kioti is the same.

Hmmm-never seen that before-my GR2100 wasn't like that when I bought it,but that was only a L&G tractor,not a sub compact....

Trust me on that one.. Two bolts stick out and have nuts on the outside, the remainder are are screwed into the axle hub. This is done for a reason. Go to the kubota (or any tractor lot) and look at the wheels....

On the lack of trans fluid on a cold dipstick, I don't think many --or any--show it till warm. Mine doesn't show but instead you have to warm the tractor up, shut it down and then check it. I have a B7800. If you fill cold you will overfill.

If you didn't have two studs on the wheel, you would never get a wheel back on. The two studs make life much easier. I believe all of mine are that way. I have a Brillion cultimulcher that doesn't have that setup and a wheel change is a frustrating experience.
