Titan is a good company, I got the 60 inch, use my for removing stumps and brush, they sent it with spear capability, but it interfere with my quick attach so I had to cut it off now works great.
the curl of my tractor is enough. I have scared my self couple of times.

I just used my forks to lift a 4x5 round bale off a trailer and drove it to my feeder, I was surprised how well it handled a round bale from under, I guess I don't need a spear after all. I still didn't measure mine but they didn't cover the whole base of the round bale so I would guess 42" forks. I wouldn't have wanted any shorter, I had to have every inch under the bale with a good slant to keep it up there in travel. Worked out good though, accomplished my task.

Bales can be moved with forks, that's for sure, but be careful. A spear pretty much prevents the bale from rolling back over the top of the implement and coming towards the operator. With forks, the only thing preventing this is the operator.

I'm not saying that it's gonna happen to you, but it's happened to many farmers. Here's one example:Kimberton Farmer Recounts Paralyzing Accident, Advocates for Farm Safety

There's a radio story about that farmer also. Point is, a spear is safer. If you use forks, be careful.

I bought a set last January. Dealer stock had 4000# stamped on the side, adjustable, straight blade. Several weeks ago I used them to move 3ea. 24"x 20' corrugated horns (galvanized steel culverts) and place them side by side in a creek to make a crossing. Just drove up and put the forks under one, put my joystick in the lift direction, culvert rolled back to the backbrace and away I went. At the drop zone, I had driven stakes in the ground to limit the forward travel of the horns once I tilted the forks down and let them roll off. Worked just fine.

I bought the 48" forks and from the operators seat I can just see the ends, if I would of bought the 42" forks I would not of been able to see the ends, I'm glad I did not get the roll back cage as it would of blocked my view. Before you purchase, cut two boards one 42" & 48" placed them at the front of the tractor and get in the operators seat and see if you can see the ends, if you can't see them picking up pallets will be hard.

Wow,

That would be horrific and something to deff think about. These are the same forks I have but are not mine and my tractor is cabbed so there's a little protection there but I will most deff be careful.

Yep, bales, logs, whatever, you lift it up high, you'd better be paying attention. A false move with the joystick can send stuff heading back your way.

Before you order make certain they are in stock. I ordered a pair of Clamp on forks with cross fork stabilizer on 11/25. I received the forks but not the stabilizer. I have been requesting an update to its status and finally got it today 12/21. The stabilizers are on back order and I won't get one until April. Seems odd as they are selling them online now and there is no indication they are on back-order.

If I was going to order from them again I would make certain they have them in stock.
