LOL. So it's safe to say this bothers you.Earlier in the thread when the notion of 3 big 10 teams in the final 4 were mention....It was a very real scenario. And very easily could have came to furition if the chips landed just right. So I don't see your point of even bringing that up.
Inlet final game amoungst the teams, more than a month after their last game, doesn't define anything.
Big 10 kicked @$$ in the first 2-3 non conference games. Didn't do so well in the post season. What does that prove.....Nothing. it's football. And on any given day, one team can beat another.
Wow, what a game! I was pulling for PSU but USC had a freshman quarterback that had no quit.

I'm glad we didn't get 3 b1G 10 teams. Might as well just give it to Bama in that scenario. No conference should ever have more than 2 spots in the 4 team playoff.
If the B1G had won those games you would be singing a different tune. When your conference loses suddenly it doesn't mean anything. But in reality it does matter and you are just being a sore loser. These bowl games are all we will talk about until next year. Conference perception of the B1G has taken a huge hit. As has the PAC.
I'm glad you brought sportsmanship up. I noticed that last night as well in the game. I was impressed by how each team was coached.I will say, I didnt make it to the end of the game (PSU vs USC) last night. But one thing I saw that I can admire PSU and USC for....sportsmanship. If you watched the game last night, and watched the Washington vs Bama game......just look at the difference in the level of sportsmanship.
What I don't understand is why they wait so long after the season to play these bowl games. In most sports, the playoffs start right after the regular season ends. I think it makes for "worse, not better" played games when you wait this long and the teams are soft and rusty.
The Clemson/OSU game was certainly a bust ... As was the Bama/Wash game. The Mich/FSU game was very entertaining, as was yesterday's PSU/USC game.
It's clear that the best 2 teams are playing in the championship. I just wonder, would those games have been any closer or more entertaining if they were played on week 14 instead of waiting so long...?
