Guys, I'm wanting to get an implement for breaking ground behind my Kubota L3301 (32hp).
I don't know anything about plowing or disking.
The ground I want to work I've cleared with a grapple, back blade, box blade, and brush hog. Less than 3 acres.
Its SE OKLA, rocky as ****, thin dirt, and was bulldozed flat around 1997.
I had thought a two bottom plow but reading through the past posts, maybe a disk setup is better for me with my rocky ground?
Not really sure what to grow but want to grow SOMETHING beside briars and red cedars! Maybe a deer plot or some kinda low maintenance vegetable to start with.
It's not perfect but not all garden plots start out good.
Vintage implements is fine for recommendations also. I enjoy bringing them back to life.
Never farmed and want to do a bit as a learning hobby. I'm attached to the land I have and don't want to move but do what I can with what I got. (I mean the land. I can buy the toys I need. Just don't want to buy the wrong thing or overbuy.)
