I'm no hydraulics guy, but you may be able to swap the whole tube with the check valve end-for-end.

or it may work fine leaving as is and swapping the whole unit end for end.

Got the top-link hooked up and working.

Rotated the port block 90 degrees so the hoses come out at the side instead of at the top (where they would end up hitting the support bracket).

I didn't have a suitable bungee cord (just really springy stuff that would likely allow the top-link to bounce around too much when not hooked up) so I improvised :D I'll ditch this when I get a quick hitch.

Despite being informed by the vendor to be sure to tighten the nuts to the port block, I forgot, only to be reminded when I operated the unit and got fluid coming out! Tightened up and it seems OK now: didn't have time to really stress it, so don't know if it's leak free (my connections are leak-free).

When one cuts protective sock material is the cut edge supposed to be burned to keep it from fraying? I'm kind of thinking so. Maybe I can still do it (carefully) in situ.

Made a bunch of material runs today. I noticed that I had a leak on the top-link. Ugh! Yup, I forgot to tighten one of the hose fittings! All good now.

I'd like to now focus on a quick hitch. I'd had my mind made up that a CAT1 would be what I'd be going with but after measuring my bush hog I see that a CAT1 might not work. Measurements on the CAT1 quick hitch lower links tend to be around 27" and my bush hog is 29" at the inside of the pins. If I go CAT2 then I wouldn't be able to use my box blade. My box blade measures 26" between the attach points and 30" on the outsides. I am looking to pick up a more suitable box blade (my 5-footer would hold up, but I'd like something more in the 6 1/2' to 7' range), so this would only be a short-term issue.

I cannot find anyone selling Speeco locally. Did spot this quick hitch, which is eerily similar.

Wanted to note that tractor had it's first regen at 33.5 hours.

With 42 hours now I'll soon be looking to do the 50 hours service.

That I didn't tighten down a couple of fittings from a hose that I just installed?

Loader issue- resolved (factory issue)
Cab leak- resolved (not sure who covered this, but the dealer dealt with it, took them two shots)
Cracked sun visor- resolved

The only issue I have now is the transmission range selector, it's a bit tough to change ranges from time to time. Seems to be very common and most folks state that it improves with time.

No, not the DIY stuff. The fact that you posted in another thread that you might want to leave it at the dealer permanently and the fact that it's been back to the dealer 4(?) times? I'd be frustrated. No attack meant. :drink:

Might be referring to my tip on shifting the transmission? This is not unique to my tractor. And, fingers crossed, the issue is said to diminish with time/use.

Tractor was taken back to the dealer twice. They didn't get the cab leak resolved the first time. New equipment bugs aren't unusual. Dealer has managed to step up and resolve everything that they've been asked to deal with. I have not bothered to beat on them about the shifting because I do not figure they have any means to help (nor would the factory): and given I've found a trick that seems to help quite a bit I'm a little less flustered with this.

Hi Diesel, I used Lucas hydraulic conditioner in my trans and it helped with the notchy shifting some. Don't expect a miracle but it did help. Not a huge issue to me but can try your patience. I am thinking on getting into a NX6010 from my DK50 for the HP increase, BUT my DK has and is a great tractor so I don't want to get into a headache. I also PM'd Eric on his tractor to see how he likes his and any issues he has had. I would like something in the 80-90hp range but the hystat is a must. CJ
