For those who dont have a junk PC for DC power, one of these Stanley Batt. booster works pretty good to power a Grandberg saw shapener, it's what I use, and it has an air compressor for small tires, that works good too.

Would a typical 12V battery charger work to power the Grandberg sharpener? That is, if set on steady charge and not boost? I already have a couple of chargers and it would be more convenient than pulling my pick up up to the barn/shop and hooking the Grandberg to the pick up battery.
