View attachment 497502View attachment 497503View attachment 497504I just came across this thread;
Pete you have some beautiful land and farm. As well as Richard.
I am always jealous about nice green land. I have green in the spring only, after that it's brown/yellow and nothing will grow but weeds somehow. :confused:
Here is some pics of my place.
That is absolutely stunning, it reminds me of the Canterbury plains north of here. Other than the buildings, which look a lot more 'expensive' than our corrugated iron sheds here we moan about it raining every other day this summer, but it has sure grown us tons of feed. Aside grazing, I've harvested over 2 tons wet per acre and could have baled more.. have been mowing good grass into the soil. Where do you call home?

Utah. (USA) Were known for the Greatest snow on earth. So of coarse here's some proof. I'm on the red sled, my buddy is on the blue one.

Now I'm jealous.. my friend's dad has one he imported from the US and I've only had a go on wet grass.. only fun I have is in my CanAm commander or my dirt bike around here. His wife is from Manitoba so they head over each winter for a second hit of summer.

I really enjoy riding my Harley in the summer, but, there is nothing that will get the adrenaline going like a high performance sled. (IMHO)
The other thing I really enjoy is cutting and baling hay. Don't know why it's just fun to me. However, I don't have to rely on it for my income. Here's a getting ready to seed picture.

I really enjoyed my years baling, too. Most of our work was the wrapped rounds, but then a lot of hay and straw as well. My best season's tally was 72147 bales!

I could only see the one photo, but it is awsome. I love green pastures and rolling hills.:)

Man, that's a lot of bales. I will not come close to that for as long as I live. :laughing: But, my whole herd of calves is only 2!
