I would really like to see better classified section but that might mean I'll be going broke! Got my Grapple, from Westbrooklawn just 40 minutes away. Work Shop Manual from canoetrpr, 1" wheel spacers from roaf3x, Hydraulic side link from newtattoobob, not to mention the $305 to tallyho8 for the Carhartt jacket from the 2,000,000th post contest.

A while back I came onto the site without logging in. After about three moves to different threads or forums, I was invited to sign in or join before being allowed to continue. That probably discourages a lot of visitors.

I browsed these forums for a long time before joining. I remember having some popups like that but I would just close them. Maybe one each session, wasn't enough to discourage browsing without signing up.

Nope, I never asked for permission to get into the "Friendly" Politics forum since I knew it was not going to be friendly.

In the early days of TBN, we could have friendly discussions on politics and religion but as the website grew, friendly discussions on those topics went out the door.

Well that just changed, "Today's joke" just got moved to Friendly Politics, so I signed up for access to the Forum.
