Box Scraper Box Scraper / BoxBlade Choices?

That's what I was just thinking also. I had to modify mine slightly to work with my quick hitch. When I did I added some flat plate on the top of the two braces that go to the back of the blade. So far I've been pretty happy with my TSC blade. But I don't have a 40 hp tractor either.

Do you have a picture of the modifications?

Apparently, If you don't know the whole story maybe you should keep your nose out of it.

Not so fast. You put the whole sordid tale on this forum for the entire world to see. And then you come on THIS thread and trash EA again. And now other posters should keep their noses out of it? That's not the way it works, amigo.

Sir, I will kindly and respectfully have to disagree with you.

I was keeping this matter private until EA came on to my thread and made it public.

I was trying to work through these issues with the box scraper with EA trying not to send it back to NC, and costing this company lots of money, and there is nothing wrong with doing that.

Instead of Travis working with us on these problems, he took a defensive posture and he denied that there was any problems except for the A-frame being misaligned.

Just because a company post on a forum that they will refund a customer his money back does not make it true, or that it happened, or is going to happen.

I asked Travis in a email if he was going to replace or send me new blades to replace the defective over drilled blades and his response was that there is nothing wrong with those blades and EA has never had a failure, and if those blades fail we will replace them. My response back was, it's not about a steel structural failure it's
about the blades being over drilled and manufactured improperly and installed improperly. That is the last email communication with EA I had.

After finding some bolts that would work properly with these over drilled blades I installed them and placed the box scraper on a flat surface and then discovered a lot of problems that I can not resolve with shims.

I just sent Travis an email for return authorization so I will see if he responds.

I will not allow EA to pick up this box scraper until my account is credited in full for the cost of the box scraper and the powder coat.

Just think how this whole scenario would of played out in EA's advantage if Travis would of came onto my thread and said WOW, that is messed up. Sir I want to apologize for these problems, all of our box blades don't come out like that, I'm so embarrassed, there is no way that you can fix those problems and we would not want you to even try. I will have that picked up and credit your account for the price and the powder coat.

Instead they took a defensive posture and would not try to work through these problems, they have denied any problems with the defective blades and the warped and misaligned (v), and have only taken responsibility for the A-frame being misaligned.

So Sir, If you were paying attention and read the thread properly you would know that Everything Attachments made this public, NOT me.

Is that a crack in the flat stock, just below the head of the bolt being used as a tip link pin?
I see what you are talking about. I don't think so I think it's my bad rattle can paint job I did after I welded the modifications. However I will look at better tomorrow. Thanks for pointing it out.

Looks good, thanks for the picture.

What I have done is replace the lower bolt with a heavy wall or solid slice of a cat 3 top link pin. Weld it in place to tie the two sides together and provide the correct height for the quick hitch top hook.

Hahahaha man I just read this thread and the one you linked. This is hilarious. Some people can never be pleased and would rather find something or someone to spend some much energy on trashing when it's unwarranted. I get their might have been some issues but wanting them to pony up on the powder coating before you'll allow them to get it is funny. Why powder coat in the first place?

Here's my first hand experience with this company!

I broke my compact grapple by using it on a utility grapple by having a tree in it and backup up over and over trying to pull the roots out on a pine. I cracked the mount and bent a hyd cylinder. This is 100% abuse and not any fault of the grapple or manufacturer. I created a thread to show the carnage as everyone love it and EA reached out to me to check if my address was still the same. They sent me out two new cylinder and all the mounts the next day for free saying it should've broken and they changed the design to prevent it from happening again. That's EA service. Bending over backwards to take care of their not so deserving customers.
