BX weight lifting test

Good information.

What loader do you have on your BX2360?

How much rear counterbalance did you have when you performed the FEL tests? (tires/wheel weights/3-Pt.)

Did you have any weight in the bucket when you performed the 3-Pt. lift tests?

It has the 243 loader. The rear had 110lbs of wheel weights, quick hitch. and carryall when testing the loader. The loader was empty when the rear was tested.

And I don't drive it that way. When actually moving the blocks I had 6 in the bucket and 9 on the pallet.

The FEL test had the front tires squatting pretty good. I haven't ever tested the pressure on my loader, but seeing what it does to the R1s when I have a load that is near max before I go into relief I don't think I could get much more lifting capacity.

I have wanted to do a test like this about the only thing I have enough of are bundles of shingles. I might need to weigh a couple on a bathroom scale and get an average weight and go for the limit.

A Max28 can handle about 800 - 1,000 lbs on the bucket forks depending on how far load is from pivot pins and a ton on the 3 pt. carry all.
BX does ok for it's size.

I got them at Tractor Supply, on Clearance, for $99, before using my coupon. They aren't fancy, but they are fully functional and nice.

I have these. I like them a lot, but they're not compatible with the Land Pride QH05.

Just in case anyone is wondering... yes a BX will lift a 62" flail mower and it works it just fine. Weighs about 700#.

I use it for mowing my lawn when I feel like switching it up from a rotary.
