Then this guy popped up on a Face book page for adoption. He was about 6-7 months old and I decided to give it a shot. He has been a fantastic addition, when we got him he was a "outside" dog from the south. Not really housebroken and never seen a TV, bed, couch, his own reflection, stairs, a stove, ... nothing but a dog house and a back yard. ..

This guy showed up at our door step couple years ago. After 3 weeks and no calls, we took him in. Only bad habbit I created by letting him lick my yogurt jar clean and anytime I have one, he's at my hip waiting to clean it out LOL

Best dog is one in search of a home like yours. You did the right thing.

Since we lost our last 2 boys, our little Pug has been a bit down. We decided he needed a friend so we got him a little friendly girl
She is just over 3 months and is nearly full grown and is a real little sweety.
She is a Chinese powder puff purebred. She made herself at home within 5 mnutes of getting in the door.

I had to laugh when reading post on skunks. 30 years ago when I was going through police K9 training we were told one of the best ways to care for a skunk encounter was, believe it or not, massengill douche yep and will attest that it does work. One night getting ready to go in for a midnight shift let my 135 pound partner out as he ran to the car he saw something in the woods on the side of my yard yep a big black and white cat, he ended up with the worst of it and I needed to find a 24 hour store to buy a case of massengill. Hare to explain what I needed it for lol. I also found that white vinegar works well it cuts the oil in the skunk spray and then a good shampoo and good to go. After 4 German Shepard's all got hit at once I learned to check the yard before letting the dogs out!

It's great that she has a "forever" home with a nice family. Good things happen to people that care for animals that need a home like yours. You both have a friend for life.

LOL She can run so fast that she creates dust from vinyl flooring.... Yes, we are both blown away by how affectionate and well behaved she is. Thanks guys
