Ordered a new BX1880 hyd val 54" mowing deck and mulching kit today and the incentive is $200 and the BX1870-1 on hand has a $300 incentive and both have the 60 months 0%. I believe he (Steve Barlow) also said same price/incentive for cash or finance so is a true 0%.

Dang John, how many Kubota's does that make for you now? I'd like to see your hat collection. LOL.

He uses one of the tractors exclusively to manage the hat collection. I think the hat collection has it's own barn. ;)

I should add to this, generally your talking incentives worth a few hundred bucks. Unless your concerned about every last penny, I'd pull the trigger and get to work rather than waiting around for some deal that may or may not materialize.

says the guy who has to sell tractors year round :)

There was $1400 rebate on a B2650 w/ 2 implements last month, now it's $500.
$900 isn't the last straw, but I'm not in a rush. and I' can restock my wine cellar w/ that much cash.

says the guy paying the tab :)

Someone said they thought it made 23 and that sounds about right. I have gotten so many hats that I finally just started taking any that are a new design that I don't already have and I do need another Kubota license plate for the front of the FJ. :D I need some parts for 50 hour service on the L3901 and a fuel cap for the F3080 so may go today and look at what I bought and get my parts...........Edit a few hours later. Pondered and called and changed it to a BX2370-1 60" deck with mulching kit..........PPS More hours later went to Barlows and changed it to a BX2380 60" deck with mulching kit and no hyd val and was less money plus the two implements incentive got me a free Landpride Quickhitch......Another later PS. The other salesman had sold the BX2380 si I'm back to the BX2370-1.

That's a sizable amount of money plus the incentives will probably rotate back around and the biggest factor is your not tractorless so you can work/play and wait.:D If you had nothing but a boxstore riding lawn mower it would be a different story but if that were the case you would probably have jumped last month.:cool2:

I'm hoping to be able to buy in the next year or so. If the 0% for 72/84 months doesn't return, I will have to look at other brands.

Just read fine print. I almost signed papers for a Deere 3032e last August, the 72 month 0% requires an additional 5% of purchase price to be factored in deal. That doesnt make 0% so I bailed.

Massey was doing the same thing, you think your getting 0% but the cost of machine goes up so they still make the same amount of money per sale regardless of interest rate.

That is the craziest thing I have ever heard of. Why in the heck do they call it zero percent then? All any of them do I suspect is just add a percentage to the price of the tractor and give it to the finance company. What does sheffield financing have to gain by financing a 15 foot batwing for me for 4 years at 0%? Just being nice?

Its called dealer (really in the end, customer) participation, and its far more common than you would think. Most of the really long term 72/84 months rates you see floating around from any vendor more than likely have participation charges.
