The forecast is for Tropical Storm Harvey to hit this weekend and lower the temps considerably. Once the heat index hits 110, I'm hurting!!!!

The humidity here seems to be higher than before also. We're not getting any younger and it hits us harder.

I hope all you Texans with ponds have good overflow features; it looks like anybody in the southern and eastern parts of Texas could be getting drenched over the next 4 or 5 days. Good luck!

Add one more snake to my total for the year last night. We where sitting on the porch, when the dogs started barking at it coming towards us from the woods. I shot it ten feet from the house. That was number 13

Not to curse it, but down around Austin, I am the exact opposite of you. Normally, I am good for 5-10 rattlers per season. So far, year to date, it has been zero. I am thinking it might be the pride of cats that have move in around us.

Sister in law and BIL are selling home in Texas and moving to this little place in NH. Comes with a Kubota B2620.

No cottonmouths either, Just Snow.
