Thank you for your Service!!!

Try to not take the comments here too seriously. A lot of Testosterone floating around here with very little meat to back it up. :)

You have no idea how deep the teeth marks are on my tongue after reading some of the posts

23 years with my local volunteer department. It was a pleasure to serve...until it wasn't. I had to leave because the chief and the board are selling the department down the river.

 LoL...I'll say...!
also kind of funny remarking on testosterone in a thread about civilian folks that feel the need to carry a firearm out in public...and those that carry them because of their chosen profession...:D

Yeah I agree.

Just saw stats yesterday that 57,000 LEOs were assaulted on the job in 2016.

I wonder how many lawn guys were assaulted?

I'm a welder, I get insulted, does that count.............

The issue is that if your lawn guy is bad.. he might steal some tools from you. When the cop is bad.. you might go to jail and have a ruined life.

Bingo.

Abuse of lawnmowing powers is finite and perhaps just monetary. Abuse of police powers can just outright ruin or derail someone's life.

Or end it.

according to TSA a weapon concealed carry permit is not valid government ID for boarding a plane. But, all TSA ID requirements are contained on permit.
Pennsylvania drivers license is not valid for boarding in January. They are saying, need passport Military ID and other things.

Go figure.
There are additional issues with a firearm on board a pressurized airplane. I am in favor of transporting firearms in the hold and with knowledge of the airline... unless you are a Marshall or other good reason.

I think the issue was identification, not bringing the firearm on board.
And I think the majority of licensed concealed carriers would be as safe as police officers armed on board an aircraft.

I've gotten numerous seat belt violations.

And you still haven't learned that seat belts save lives? Of all the forced upon us safety regs this one I have to say is the best. If I had been wearing my safety belt back in 1970, I wouldn't have all the problems with my neck now which was broken when I punched a hole in the windshield with my head. The car I was in was one of the first to include shoulder harness along with safety belts but of course we didn't use them.
