Clemson now has more than light. My guess is that the accident occurred at either (a) the intersection of Tiger Boulevard (US 123) and College Avenue (SC 133) or (b) the intersection of the Old Greenville Highway (SC 93) and College Avenue.

My money in on (b), especially if it was a warm spring day and coeds were sunning themselves on Bowman Field.

Not this one, although I did own a Ford Ranger at one time.

Some of my colleagues and I used to take leisurely strolls through Bowman Field on the way to lunch on warm spring days.

Well, the good news is that the new law affects rural counties only. Those folks are almost all ranchers and farmers, so most likely they have been pumping fuel into tractors their whole lives. Probably won't have much of a problem figuring out how to get fuel into a vehicle.

As an "red" Oregonian, I feel embarrassed about making the national news. It's never about anything good.

Yeah. After all the Californication jokes we hear about people who moved to Oregon (why would anyone??) ... its good to shovel some of that humor back at them!

Hahaha. It was at 123 and 133 where a lot of folks cross on their walks to downtown. Since I've lived here, that intersection has changed many times. Death Valley Exxon replaced by Sonic, now being replaced by Verizon Wireless. Other side has the Walgreens or whatever. Now the new railroad bridge is almost finished. But the scenery on a leisurely drive from Clemson to Central on Hwy 93 is probably the most likely to cause traffic accidents in modern days.

If you are so freaking stupid you don't know which side your gas cap is on you should stay at home until you do. What is the average IQ in Oregon anyway? :laughing: I did see there was an Idiotville Oregon. Maybe everyone lives there from Oregon.

Try running 3 orl more rigs and see how many times you pull up on the wrong side. Or just two rigs and you only occasionally drive the other one.

Back in the 70s when they often added a second gas tank to pickup trucks I recall seeing one with the factory tank filler on one side and the add on tank filler on the other side.

On parts of the Florida Turnpike the service plaza gas stations have suspended ( IIRC ) hoses long enough to reach either vehicle side .

I've seen that a couple time even in cities/towns

By now those in Oregon affected by the change (it wasn't state-wide) will have figured out how to pump gas. I hope anyway.
