Solder in a stripped zerk???

Hola Egon, yeah there was a big nut on it before for protection but I cut it off to be able to fix it. that square tube is dinky but better than nothing.

You didn't like the welding the nut on fix? Seems solid to me.

Me to. Drive in zerk would be second choice.

Only to add, if needed, take a 1/16" welding rod and gently tack weld the drive in zerk so it wont pop out.

Mine didn't have protection. I tried the JB weld thing but that didn't work. A local shop & welder did work!
