I am looking for someone who has this one or one like it. King kutter, Taylor way. Pittsburg way. Frontier.

On the rear end of the tube where it attached to the rake, there is the bolt and the adjustment pin. Can the bolt-rake portion be removed from the 3 point section leaving only the tube? I can't find one locally so asking

I have a Woods LR 60 that is similar...in my case there are two bolts but they do allow the rake (and pivot tube) to be removed...the outer pivot tube remains on the 3ph frame and the inner pivot tube is part of the rake...

So the rake has tube that slides into the 3 point? Like a ball mount slides into the hitch? So if I wanted to sleeve over or into the 3point tube I could?

If you take the nut off and turn the hitch to like up with the rake they will come apart.

After looking at some pics...My (older) rake is different...it employs a vertical section of something like 4" pipe welded to the boom end of the 3ph frame...the rake has a similar section of slightly smaller pipe that just fits inside the 4" section...the bolts secure a bottom plate...this is for rotating the rake...

The newer Woods rakes are similar to what you linked but as I said they are different than the one I have...Sorry...

Curious...are you looking to maybe use the 3ph frame for a second purpose implement?

Yup I would like to use it as a rake and be able to swap the rake out to another home made. The one pictured I can't get local and is 300 more than a local unit. If the back comes off clean its worth the money.

Remove the bolt and pin, this will be left:

It's a great idea...I had a similar one when I got my rake...just not done anything about it yet...

[side story]...I bought my rake via an online auction only looking at pictures (it was about 45 miles away)...I had arranged for my nephew to help me get it home with his pickup but when I saw it I realized I could remove the rake from the frame and fit it in the back of my SUV...thus my OR...

Hope someone can help your query...be sure to update this one or start a new thread if you make it happen...Good luck...
