Yes. This works just fine, but in heavy continuous load it will get warm/hot. Knowing what the temp is is good. Running the correct engine oil is key also. My 155d calls for sae30. And depending on the service history, I'd change all fluids and filters. These are great little tractors.
Good to know! And yes, a fluid and filter tuneup is at the top of the list at the moment. Hydraulics all operate fine so I'm not sure I will completely flush that system. But engine oil change + filter, fuel filter, and hydraulic filter for sure.
Is installing a temp gauge on one of these pretty straight forward?
