30°F(-18°C) and clear skies this morning, going up to 60°(16°C) today. Sure would be nice if January the 107th was the last morning this year I had to scrape frost from the windshield (or, windscreen, since we're being international).

Wife and I decided we won't be putting in a garden this year. Just not enough time with other things going on. She did pick up some tomato and banana pepper plants to put in a couple of pots, so we'll have a mini container garden.

Picked up another little bit of rain yesterday in the morning, and then some very fine hail in the afternoon. It ended with a beautiful sunset, so something for everyone.

Nice work on the ham license, David. Nice thing to have if you ever need it.

Good luck with the car sale, Drew. No matter how bad, it'll never be as bad as trying to sell something on eBay...

When I dropped by the mechanic's last week he had a stainless steel header/muffler installed, and it was interfering with the rear engine mount. He wasn't happy with the first muffler/header he purchased either, and this one was supposed to be better. He bought three of the first ones, which were supposed to be all stainless steel, but showed up in plain carbon steel. So instead of returning them, he had one ceramic coated, and then the parts wouldn't fit together. He couldn't clean the ceramic off to get them to fit, either. He was going to notch out the engine mount, then weld gussets on, so I took on the job to save time. Took care of that yesterday, and also finished up the dash panel for the 4WD controls. Was gonna drop them off yesterday night, but he says they're not holding him up, though he is working on other things on my van...:confused2:

Rounded out the day with some housework, then another fire in the woodstove. Feels more like winter around here than spring. Supposed to warm up into the 70s for the weekend, though.

Good morning all, 37 now going to 50. Got up early and fell asleep in my chair after about an hour. Finely got around to TBN. Wife's brother Would be almost 60 and he was born april 27 and his dad had to plow snow to get to the to the Dr when he was born. That was just south of Harrisonburg Va. Probably make a run for gas and diesel today.
Take wife to GP for follow up from the ER visit this afternoon.

Good Afternoon everyone.

David- Congratulations on the license. How long before your # is FCC posted?

At sunrise it was lightly snowing and it has been lightly snowing intermittently all day long with the sun periodically appearing all PM. I have been active all day and little to show for all the activity except foot and paw prints in the snow, the wood stove is going, and and dinner is basically prepped, ready to prep, and/or ready to go. There's ~3" of snow/ice over partially thawed ground surface except where the "wet" areas are around here. I see this episodic rain/snow shower weather pattern continuing around here until the weekend.

Wifey has been increasing difficulty moving due to pain for quite some time, finally went to her rheumatologist, and now has a new diagnosis = "Polymyalgia Rheumatica." She is back on Plaquenil and now is on Prednisone for the first time. She has not been moving too much or often for quite some time. Hopefully this will get her feeling and moving better. She's a "hard sell" regarding CBD oil.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for all.

Hope your wife gets to filling better, Prednisone can hit people hard, I don't recommend it long term.

Don, did you get a change to check on the ceiling boards? No rush, whenever.

They are at my Mom's place in a barn. The winds blew the barn down last week. I'll check to see if I can even get to the wood in a few days. I haven't forgotten. I took them down from the ceiling and wall in an old house that salvaged them from the old train depot in Lincoln TX, so the wood is over 100 years old.

hawkeye- Thanks. I have read many + reviews of RSO. It is a mix of CBD and THC. I ordered a pure CBD tincture from the internet. I have more than enough MM with decent levels of THC. I would probably have to go to the MM dispensary to get RSO or an equivalent.

What we really should do is eliminate all red meat and processed foods and watch the fat contents of dairy products, etc as a start. Don's plant based diet would work as I understand it.
