Arbor is up. We boxed on 3 sides and left one side open to help prevent rot. Supports are 4 ft deep set in 2ft x 2ft x 4.5ft of concrete with rebar.

We are finally on the tail end of this project. The brackets we had made for the arbor worked great. The two post arbor is rock solid and I have no concerns about it now that the concrete has cured and bracing removed.

I'll try to get some updated pics of the bridal suite shortly. The remodel of the house upstairs for it is done as well. About the only thing left now is the outside stonework and getting the barn doors on rollers.

Time to get some sleep!

It is Kyle. This one was rough on me. I finally started getting back to a normal routine on Monday. Our open house was last Sunday and we still had a lot of loose ends to finish up. I have been putting in 90-100+ hr work weeks for the last 2 months. Been working 8am to at least 11pm and sometimes past midnight 7 days a week. My part is pretty well done now. Stonework is the only major item left. The stone guys are doing a nice job and I've decided to let them keep going on it instead of doing some of it myself. Here's a few pics of the entry now that columns are done.

I think jk deserves the bonus... I vote for a stay at a beach resort but somehow I think jk isn't much for lounging.

I'm going to give it one heck of a try. We leave Wednesday for St. John's, US Virgin Islands. We rented a house on the water for a week. My wife booked about a year-and-a-half ago just before we decided to start this project so the timing worked out well.

Ill plan to wrap this thread up with some final finish pics in 3-4 weeks when all of the stone work is complete.
