but parts/service always an issue

we spend a lot of money for a new tractor hoping it will last our lifetime.
We sure hope the manufacturer does too.
who knows, maybe they will become collector's items...sure nice looking tractors.
Apparentley you didn't comprehend my comments or what dis-satisfied owners of Cabelas branded tractors had to say.Greetings Oldoak,
I'm not sure about who you refer to about "heated tempers", but I agree with that. As far as having "sympathy" for those directly effected - that is - I would think, a reaction any of us tractor owners would have.
But just having sympathy, doesn't make their lives any better or easier. And while "going legal" can make their situation much better. . . . Too many people charge into "going legal" without being prepared or doing other things first that can be just as effective and also less costly. But it all starts with having better knowledge of the situation and the points I made in a prior post on how to get that knowledge.
"Having sympathy" for others is not a cure. It can turn into a motivation, but that isn't enough to make a difference in its own.

I did point out "As far as legal action is concerned, that will take money and time, and even in a class action suit, I have never heard of case where the plaintiffs came out ahead even when they won."
Many actual owners have already commented that they have went through the proper channels and have exhausted all the avenues without success to getting their tractor problems resolved. The only alternative for them may be legal action as some of them are contemplating.
No did I even indicate "Having sympathy" for others was in any way a cure.
For some reason you appear to be pushing your own agenda twisting and contradicting what others have to say without really listening.
Oh well, what ever..........................![]()
The one thing that I can say about "legal action" is that it is rarely required if one finds the right target in the company with which you have an issue. For BP/Cabela's, that may be simply speaking to someone in their legal department, to ask who now owns the responsibility for the warranty on tractors. Because somebody does own that.

???
No its not, I've owned a South Korean tractor for 17 years.
Parts and service have never been an issue
