What was TSC thinking

The two near me are okay but reveiws and pricing has prevented me from buying any County Line equipment. Ironically I have found the cheaper China equipment from Agri Supply to be pretty good quality. Actually this first piece I bought was because the TS store had none of what I wanted. Before that I had no idea Agri Supply existed. They are 75 miles from me but worth the drive for implements.

One of our TS stores was always out of common hitch pins and varius hardware in that section. I wrote corporate about it and the bins have remained full ever since.

They recently opened a new Rural.King directly across from the local TS here, the TS is still open but the parking lot is always empty, I think it may be the free RK popcorn.

I was struggling to get some post holes drilled and became so desperate that I took the advice from somebody on here to give Country Line a try. That post hole digger has totally changed everything I thought I knew about augers. It goes through the ground like butter. I have very hard red clay, and the first foot or so will give my full sized backhoe a work out breaking through it. Then it gets easier, but that crust is really something. The Country Line auger goes right through it.

So when I needed a 3 point hay spear, the first place I went was TSC and bought the Country Line one that they had in stock. Again, it works great!!!

I haven't tried any of their other attachments, and probably wont because I already have Land Pride, but if I didn't, I might be tempted.

The first implement I attempted to buy there was a little 5 foot grader blade. On top of them being out of stock their price was $100 higher than the cheap one listed at Agri Supply. Their unit also had several reviews saying it was welded together crooked. That might have been from their previous builder and the reason they changed builders. I ended up spending about the same price as the County Line brand on a Kodiak at Agri Supply. It was built much better than the cheap one I went up there to get. Not only did Agri Supply have 5 ft grader blades in stock they had like 3 different brands and quality levels to choose from. They have a huge field full of implements. That was another email to TS corporate wondering why a business the the word TRACTOR in it's name didn't have any variety of TRACTOR implements in stock.

You need some tiger teeth on your bucket. Nothing slows these buggers down.

From what I understand, each TSC store is individually owned. The owner is supposed to sell certain items, and keep products in stock, but he/she has some flexibility in what sells best in their area. There are no snow blowers in any TSC that I've been to in Texas. Why that store has them is probably a reflection of the store owner and not so much the company.

Every TSC store is corporate owned.

I shop at three different TSC stores and I have always had a good experience at all of them. One order that I placed online was badly handled, and the store manager stepped it, made it right, and then went further to make sure I was happy.

I do NOT understand all the business bashing. I suspect the most vocal critics have never operated a business. There is also the guy from PA, name not worth mentioning, that spends his days bashing Rural King.

Suggestion: IF YOU dislike the store for whatever reason, Just don't go there. If this is the major issue in your life, YOU actually have NO Life.

I think it's called opinion sharing. This IS a discussion forum for tractor related use and issues isn't it?

I'm not totally down on Tractor Supply. I will look there first because they are the closest to me.
