Loader Valve Recommendations?

On your first post you stated one of the reasons that you are looking for a different valve is that your current valve has no load check. Why would you consider another valve without load checks?

Did you look at the Bucher HDM11S series? It appears to offer load checks on each section. I did not look at all the other features or options though.

Would also suggest contacting Prince since there two section loader valve has load checks for both spools. Three section might also.

No load check is a issue. My valve has none at all. These valve have at least one main check. The Nimco has one on each spool but no adjustable relief.

I did look at the Bucher HDM11S, but it has Load Sensing. I don't know how that will work on a constant flow style pump. From what I read, it needs to be used with a variable displacement pump, is that correct? I also don't think it can have power beyond. I have learned some, but still not sure about certain things.

I have called and sent info to 3 different companies, and still no reply.

I am open to any suggestion and appreciate the feed back and info.

Did you have an issue with Nimco valves? I thought I read that in some of my research.

I believe the Bucher can be configured for either open center fixed displacement pumps or closed center variable volume pumps with or without load sense. The data sheet is a little confusing and I have not studied it thoroughly

Yes I had a Nimco CV112 on my Branson when new. It had zero metering when lowering a load and next to none when dumping especially with forks on. To me it was unsafe to operate so I replaced it with a Prince loader valve. Prince isn稚 perfect but much better than the Nimco. I presume that Nimco must work for other people since I believe Massey has them on some models

Have you tried contacting any distributors in your area? They might respond better than the OEM.

Two of the ones I contacted are in Texas, not real close to me but I did offer to come talk to them in person. I will look for more around here. It is a challenge to find a valve in this size with the features I want. Thanks again for your help!

Thanks Dave for the advice. I have looked at cross before but can't find a three spool valve at all.

They make them, I have one I installed. I also have installed a 2 valve Prince, seems to be a decent quality. Not as heavy duty as Cross, but good.

I didn't see them on their website. Thanks for letting me know, I will just call them today and see what they have.

I talked with Cross today and the only way they can get a 3 spool is a large valve and 30 GPM. The dimensions would put me outside the footprint of the tractor. The hunt continues.

Update. I narrowed my search to either a Bucher or Nimco valve. I called Nimco and received 0 help. All the lady would say is they would email me some information. I finally talked with their distributor for Texas and although he was polite and called me back, he said that Nimco is not very helpful and I probably would not get any answers from them. Also they are now closed for the next two weeks. So that leaves Bucher.

Thanks to Brian at Fit Rite, I was able to talk with the folks at Trausch yesterday and they are researching what they can build and are going to call me back.

What I have learned through this process is people that sell hydraulic valves are not that interested in selling one valve to an individual. I have called close to 20 different companies and have heard back from three. Of the three only one, Trausch, seems willing to sell me a valve. You would think this would be a much simpler process than it has turned out to be. :confused3:

Probably quite true. I have always done my own research.

Unfortunately most distributors and OEM's are running on skeleton crews and don't have the time to devote to researching a single valve assembly like you are asking for. Also a lot of distributors carry so many product lines that it is next to impossible for a person to know what valves are available.

Hopefully Trausch will bill able to assist you in your quest for this valve.

I got the Bucher 3 stack valve for the rear remote project on my former L3200 from Fitrite. I was happy with it. Not quite as good as the loader valves on either of my Kubotas. But orders of magnitude better than the leaky crap valves Kubota is using for the rear remotes on the Grands these days.

The butcher valve was letting my TnT cylinders creep a few inches a day, which is perfectly fine. My current metric on my Grand is 1-6" an hour. Neither loader moves noticably in weeks.
