Congrats........mine should be ready for delivery Friday or Monday. I got the 72deck to make it a little bit easier mowing up close to things with the deck sticking out a little further - my lawn is 90% flat so hopefully not too bad scalping issues. when I get mine we can RACE!!!!

Cool! :drink: Yeah, I don't understand why a lot of people get the smaller deck, unless you need the clearance. The 72 is way easier to mow around obstacles.

I have a daughter and wife that like to mow so it will be much easier for them - I am excited for them to not have something with quirks like all my older stuff so they can enjoy it - I will likely just get to use it for landscaping etc.....I will say this.......in a tractor of that hp and size no manufacturers off anything comparable, JD sure has a niche there I have looked at them all!!!

Yes, before I wanted a 3R Series, but this is the perfect size for me. I'm guessing its a better mowing machine than the 3R, since it has the Command Cut.

yes I get it........I nearly went with a 3520, that fell thru, then I wanted to get a case/ih or ls or boomer but they only offer a 66 inch deck on a 63 inch wide tractor that is over 1000 lbs heavier - after talking and pondering and listening to folks here I just didn't think that kind of weight on my yard would be a good thing over time not to mention not having a mower that stuck out farther for easier mowing around things, then comes the wife/daughter part and adjustment of mower height, getting it off/on, so many other nuances that the lighter weight on the yard and higher hp than ANYONE could compete with if I wanted to do some rear mount work - deere has capitalized on something no one else has in the size/mmm/hp aspect - not to mention price - I tried every dealer and brand around and no one had anything even close - I would have never guessed JD would be that competitive - I still wish I had red paint but I have 3 other red paint tractors so i get my therapy from those ha!!!

What’s a ballpark $$ on a 2038r with loader mower? I’ve got a deal working for a 2025r but wish it was wider. Love the 2032/2038r never asked about price cause figured was more than I could swing.

I think it depends on what part of the country you are in. I need to do the math, but I think I got around 15% off MSRP.
