I looked hard at the Kubota. Drove it a few times and parked them side by side. The Case crushed it in comfort. Specs were pretty much the same. The Case is a left over so it was 8k less than the Kubota. Is the Case inferior or are the folks brain washed by Kubota? I guess I will know soon enough but in the back of my mind I keep wondering.

Nothing at all wrong with Case. If I had good dealer support I would not be afraid of it. Lots of folks brand bash because they are owned by Fiat.

Lots of both RED and Green in this part of NY. Both immediate neighbors operate Red but in the 200hp category and up.

Dealer network is very strong in Monre Tractor, same situation w/ White's. Can't prove the 75c will be a great tractor, but also can't prove it won't.

Nationwide, once the purchase level exceeds the M7060, sales to small hobby farmers declines, and large AG operations seemingly have NO appetite for kubota

That is slowly changing, very slowly w/ the advent of higher hp models, However the average age of medium family farmers is such that they are creatures of their historic purchases.

Try looking the salesman in the eye, and have him certify that he believes this tractor possesses the exact level of dependability as the kubota. If he looks away at any point, that is a concern.

Another approach is exploring the M8560. You chose a very popular 70 hp model. The M85, not so much. You may find much more negotiating space in that tractor as we head toward the end of tractor purchase season. There is a NY kubota dealer association. Call around to see who has an 8560, 12 speed left over, then White's could obtain the tractor. Would not say much to other dealer, just confirm inventory.

You noted that dealer relationship is critical to your new business endeavor. White's would prefer to move the Case, but a sale is sale if they believe you will look elsewhere for the other kubota.

As an aside, chuckE2009 you tube channel, bought a m7060 last year. He uses it, he abuses it, he loves it, He is in Texas, no snow, he kinda hay farms, difficult to label exactly what he does, except he makes that tractor perform work, skip through some videos for insight.

Whites have always been very good to myself and my family through the 50 year relationship I have had with them. I have purchased Mahindra also and had great luck with them. The sales person leans Kubota as that is what is mostly sold now. The left over Case was 8k less and seemed like more tractor to me. I just wonder why other folks do not see it the same way I do. Could the masses be wrong? This looks like a great tractor.

Personally I would prefer the CNH over the Kubota.
Of course I grew up on Red.

Lol funny you say that. I grew up Red and kind of getting back to my roots but the only problem is they are not what they were. Now the question is are they better or worse than they were. I do not remember ever having one break down farming. They were great tractors.

Chicken or the egg, more dealers because of high sales volume or high sales because of more dealers. John Deere sales and service are great here, others not so much.

If it matters, Case has a Fiat engine.
