Would flying first class help ease your distaste for airplanes, Drew? I never cared much for air travel, either, but when I compared it to the time needed to cover long distances on the ground, it was easier to tolerate. A good pair of noise cancelling headphones helped, too.
I was going to fly business class, more room but the issue is heights. Pretty high up there....
Plus I have to check baggage and the total experience is just a miserable ordeal. Thankfully rarely had to fly for business.
And my late wife and I would take cruise ships out of Bayonne NJ and Baltimore to avoid connecting flights.
When I was in fireman training and had to climb a three story ladder and swing out onto a roof ladder, handing on for proverbial dear life,
I was afraid of the guy below me and my bladder control. I get vertigo really easily.
MRI's, what a treat. I've probably had a dozen due to neck and back. And all upper body so you have to go all the way in.
I asked for an open one and they said they only had a larger sized enclosed. Thought that was cheap...I know they have one in that complex somewhere. I'm sure it's all about what Medicare/BC/BS will pay for.
I just don't get it. Will all our sophisticated tech, why can't they design a MRI that doesn't go BANG BANG BANG at high decibels? Why not make the magnetic part more electronic... Or is the R for resonance in our ears and heads?...
hours of running errands downtown, brownies were well received at food pantry,
muggy and sticky out with showers now coming this afternoon, maybe.
I want to paint outside but can't, guaranteed fastest way to make it rain.
Might be able to do a little fast dry latex painting on the wood gazebo.
It would be cool, no pun intended, to have a big solar powered ceiling fan in the dome of the gazebo.
Solar powered by those new shingles that are actually solar panels.
