I put the Roxor with the box store UTVs.

Ah NO. At over 3000lbs, it is way over the weight of "box store UTV's". My RTV900 only weighed 2000lbs and that weighed more than most other UTV's. It is actually constructed very similar to early jeeps, just newer.

... but it's going to be somewhere north of 3500 rpm (?) at 70+mph unless it also has jumbo tires.

When was the last time you drove an old flat fender Jeep? at 70mph? No, this was never going to compare to a modern Jeep Wrangler, it compares to a 1950 Willys jeep and it does quite good at it.

I saw some of these Mahindra atvs at an atv dealer this week. The law suits must have failed.

I do really like my Samurai... rugged and dependable... zero issues on 20+ years of ownership...

At the time... I wanted a UTV and found this Suzuki for $1000 and jumped on it.

I also like owning vehicles that appreciate...

I've owned similar. I owned two mid 50's Willys Wagons back in the day. First had a poor little 259 Studebaker V8 (those bolt up to Jeep transmission) that with 4.27 gears screamed its heart out out at freeway speed singing along with the transfer case scream. The second Willys Wagon was nearly the same but a Ford 292 and overdrive. For both, at freeway speed the handling was a little non specific.

I mean in regards to quality and features.

Although us men like to talk about it,,,, size isn't everything.

Not even seeing it as a “ranch” vehicle. Plenty of beater pickups around here for less than $2500 and they have a cab, etc. In some, even the AC works.

If it was road worthy and priced at $20k...THEY HAVE A WINNER.

Well if it only had to meet the safety and emission stands for 53 or so it could be road legal.
And it would be a handy new vehicle.
