The LNL is one of those things that after you use it you think to yourself, "Why do they even sell grease guns with the fittings on them that they do"?? It's SO MUCH better. It's not a little better, it's like 1/2 (maybe less) time to grease my entire tractor using a LNL compared to the standard fittings. I'm with you guys, 30 bucks is more than my whole grease gun cost! I'd be shocked if the manufacturing cost on the LNL is over 5 bucks, but hey, that's capitalism, guy came up with a fantastic solution to a real PITA for those of us who are trying to attach/detach from 100's a zerks a few times a year. Good for him. If you're anything like me, the 30 bucks will be a distant memory when you start using this thing, it's just "the way it should be". Everything works naturally, it's so fast, it's just a joy to use after you've suffered with a regular fitting for, well, your entire life!
Frankly, over a long enough period of time, this thing will probably save me money because I'm not going to think "Man, I really should lube that zerk, but.. It'll be fine until next week" and then wind up with a worn bearing that would have been avoided if I hadn't been dreaming up excuses to not have my stupid grease gun fitting get stuck on that zerk and bang my knuckles getting it off. I'm probably greasing 2-3X as often now, and if I see something that even seems a little dry, I'll just swing by the barn and put a pump or 2 of grease in. Easy as can be, 2 seconds to connect, 2 to disconnect, a pump or 2.. 15 seconds, max, and I know it's not going to be a wrestling match going on or off.
Thanks for the advice on this one guys, just wanted to pass along my experience, great suggestion! If you're greasing even dozens of zerks, just get it. You'll be happy you did!
