I lean in your direction. If LD is portraying this fairly and I have no doubt he is... this place is not a place I would do business. Sure, you could probably have zero issues on many small transactions, but I think LD's situation highlighted this company for what they are.

I am portraying it as accurately as I can. Which is why I held of on saying anything bad about this place when they sent me the wrong block, that IMO was not rebuildable without machining.

Some others had made comments to the effect of them screwing me, etc.

We are all humans, and humans make mistakes. I was disappointed I didn't get a good short block....but didn't think I was trying to be screwed. I'd just send it back and get a refund. Only thing it would cost me was a week setback.

But then when the OWNER called me....accusing me of changing my story and never telling them it was the wrong block, cursing at me, telling me their block is a perfect rebuildable one, telling me I should just take Emery cloth to the scratches in the cylinder walls, and then only offering a partial refund...

What's strange here is.I didn't know you called them. So, I called them from a list I had. I asked if they had an engine for a kubota MX5100 and gave them the numbers you listed. They said they would check and call me back.
When they called me back, they said they had a short block for an MX 5100.

I then let you they told me they had one . You told me when you called them, they said they didn't have one.
Then, you call them back, and now they have one

I can't figure out why they didn't have an engine when you called the first time, but had an engine when I called.
Then, when you called them back, they had one.

Still waiting on CC company to fight this battle.

Transaction date monday (posted to acct yesterday) was a refund from WKYTP for $1,561.52

The thing cost me $1750 + $188.48 to ship...total of $1938.48 charged to my card.

I have no clue why they think THEIR mistake should cost me $376.96?

I'll call me CC card company later today or tomorrow to get an update.

I would cease further contact with the outfit and turn it over to your CC company, lock, stock and barrel. Provide all the details of the transaction. Why screw around with someone who is trying to screw you? Keep us posted as to the outcome.
