To be honest I don’t think I could ask for better customer service. So far they have been very prompt in getting back to me and trying to work this out. He did say that they have never had this problem and that is why they don’t know for sure what it could be. Leave it to me to be the guy that gets the first one lol.
I called about the problem (on a Friday afternoon) and just thought it was low on hydraulic fluid due to a leaking quick connector. They showed up 1st thing Monday morning to fix the leak and top off the hydraulic fluid and to double check everything else. The service guy said I would need to get all the air out of the system so to run the tractor a while using all the hydraulics and that if there was still a problem to let them know. At this point he felt like there was a problem but Said it would require a trip to the shop as they don’t have the tools needed in the service trucks to do the test needed and he would talk to his boss as soon as he got back and that I should also call his boss after running it to confirm that we still had a problem. Being that it was so late in the day I waited until the next morning to call and when I talked to him he had already talked to other shops and was waiting on the engineers to call him back as he had already put in a call the them.

Honestly guys could we as owners ask for any more than what he has been doing for me? Personally I’m very impressed with the customer service I have gotten at this point. I have gotten way worse service from other big name companies.

That sounds like very impressive service. I particularly like the fact that the dealership has service trucks - that shows a commitment to customer service. I worked in the motorcycle trade for awhile, and warranty work is a two way street. If the dealer has professional quality mechanics working in a well-equipped shop then the manufacturer is likely to do their part as well.

Well I'm sad to say that the problem wasn't fixed and it was returned to me doing the same crap. I called and talked to the owner yesterday (he has been out of town on business since I got the tractor) and told him everything that has happened. he had the tractor picked back up today and promised me that it wouldn't be returned until it was for sure fixed. He said that I'm the 1st one to buy this new model of tractor with a 3rd function and a backhoe so they have now idea what could be the problem. At this point I'm so pissed that its not funny. I feel like the service manager lied to me by telling me that it was fixed and passed all their test yet the day it was delivered it failed every test I did that mimicked the test he told me they did. This time they are sending it to a different location (same owner just different shop, different location) to let that shop work on it to see if they can figure it out. I'm at my wits end as to what to do about this as I have a lot to get done before winter and no tractor or backhoe to get this stuff done. My 90 days will be up and I will have only gotten that have the tractor in my possession for maybe 7 days at this rate.

Skip, I take back all the nice things I said about the dealership in the message above, and I'm going back to what I said originally in message #206.

To this old-timer it sure sounds to me like you are being played. Come on now, you know it's time to call in a third party. Probably a lawyer.
The part about the owner being "out of town" is one of the oldest stories in the book. Ever hear of a phone? I'll bet he even has a reason why he couldn't be reached.

At this point you probably don't want it even if "fixed"

In your place I would get tough and plan to get your money back and go elsewhere....Or you could even use the same dealer - but this time make the changes in the sales contract like we talked about in #206. Undoing your deal will probably require a lawyer or at least the threat of one. Probably will. But any inexpensive new lawyer can do this. Chalk it up to experience.
Sorry it is going this way.

I am to the point that I'm thinking of doing exactly what you are saying. I feel like they have been blowing smoke up my *** the entire time and I was dumb enough to buy it. Yesterday I did tell the delivery driver that picked it up that I was ready to go buy a blue one or a green one or a orange one just anything but a red one because I know they work in my experience. The ONLY reason I went with the Mahindra was because it has no DEF to fill up or filter to burn off like my truck does and we have had a few barns and tractors burn up in my area because of the stupid exhaust filter and how hot it gets when it burns off. To be honest pissed doesn't even cover how pissed I am at this point.

See if they will just take tractor back and give your money back. Then move to different tractor company.

Funny thing. Every time I have called to talk to the owner he was always conveniently out of town. Well me being me I just kept calling and one day when they asked who was calling I didn't give my name and guess who I got to talk to. Supposedly they have found the problem and its not related to the tractor so much as its a issue with the loader valves. So they are going to swap the valves out with a new tractor they have on the lot and then test it to make sure that fixed it. He said he would call me back in a day or 2 to let me know. And now we wait again. :mur:

After fighting with them for 3 month I finally told them to either buy it back or the next person they talked to wouldn't be me and within 2 hours of that phone call they decided to buy the tractor back because they couldn't find the problem.

That’s excellent! Good for you. Now you can move to another brand and dealer.
