and running on Natural gas, it would be much cheaper to run, than on propane..I looked at it in person... it is brand new/never installed, and would be great for a large garage/shop.

Yes I am aware of a kit which I believe just changes the orifice size.they are very easy to convert from natural to LP gas

Yeah, I was looking at the install specs to figure best venting scheme. To be honest, the size is bothering me more than the plumbing. I do appreciate the efficiency and I believe the heated air would be dryer, which my tools would welcome.Good thing about a condensing unit is. They use less gas, and can be vented with PVC terminated just outside the wall, or through the roof which is cheaper, and easier than running metal dw vent through the roof

I have only propane as a choice. To say it would be cheaper to operate than propane would depend on nat gas prices vs propane in your area.
Nat sure has the convenience advantage over propane.
Heck, I was in the HVAC business for many years. I don't even heat my garage. 50x80 pole barn would cost me a fortune to heat
Ok I just went back and looked. That is a unit heater /hanging heater, so you would need the head room to install it. It usually hangs from rafter/ ceiling

My current shop is my two car detached garage (cars sit outside) with an 8ft ceiling with little insulation. I'm 6'2" and I already have a tall metal storage cabinets on wheels, old kitchen cabinet uppers, metal storage shelves lining the three walls other than the garage door side. Plus I have a JET ceiling mounted air filtration unit.
So, real estate is critical for me. Yeah, I need a bigger shop but my property makes that a challenge without major expense.
